Born in 1953 • Diploma in architecture (École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris) • Higher diploma in town planning at École supérieure des Ponts et Chaussées de Paris • Postgraduate degree in History at EHESS

Founder of Dominique Perrault Architecture in Paris (1981), in Berlin (1992), in Luxembourg (2000), in Madrid (2006) and in Geneva (2013) • Architect, winner of the international competition for the French National Library in Paris (1995), the Court of Justice of the European Communities in Luxembourg (2008) and the New EWHA Womans University Campus Center at Seoul (2008) • Architect of important heritage restorations, including the redevelopement of the Dufour Pavillion at the Chateau de Versailles (2016), the renovation of La Poste du Louvre in Paris (2018) et the New Longchamp Racecourse in Paris (2017). Member of the Conseil scientifique de l’Atelier International du Grand Paris (since 2012) • Professor of Architecture at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (since 2013) • Founder of the research platform DPAx (2015) • Elected Member of the Académie des Beaux-Arts (depuis 2015), Praemium Imperiale laureate for architecture awarded by the Japan Art Association at 2015.
